A lot is being said ,written and shown on tv channels world over about the Ongoing bloody and tragic conflict between Israel and Hamas which shows no signs Of an early end though more than 10,000 people in Gaza and over 1400 people in Israel have lost lives and the fate of around 220 hostages remains unknown. Understandably, in the prevailing charged up atmosphere and highly polarised political ,public and media discourse, an objective, unbiased, balanced ,fair and facts based discussion has become very difficult, if not impossible. We are attempting that with the help of some of the most erudite, experienced,knowledgeable individuals who understand the complexities of the conflict and powerful local, regional and international factors which Impinge on the huge human tragedy which has unfolded before our eyes.

Cari amici, che seguite la nostra associazione Al-Bunduqyyia Assadakah, devo confidarvi che sono un ammiratore del maestro Moni Ovadia da circa 40 anni, da quando da giovane studente seguivo i suoi spettacoli teatrali e non me ne perdevo uno; grazie a lui, grande artista ed intellettuale, ho iniziato a conoscere ed apprezzare, pur da “goym”, qualche briciola della cultura ebraica. Lo ho sempre considerato e lo considero quindi un punto di riferimento, per la sua coerenza in chiari e fermi principi morali e perché ha sempre aiutato chi lo ascoltava a sviluppare un pensier critico ed autonomo.
